0200 Hours, February 26, 25XX (Military Calendar)/
Sigma Octanus System- UNSC Frigate 21-Gun Salute, near the planet of Sigma Octanus IV

The entirety of the ship was deathly quiet. No sounds, no movement... nothing. Not even
a graveyard seemed so empty, so devoid of life.

Hell, not even the hulking, seven-foot Spartan supersoldier moved a muscle.

Five minutes until exit from Slipstream Space. Suggested that you begin the thawing sequences. A disembodied voice with a hint of an English accent resounded within the seasoned war machine’s helmet. Nodding wordlessly, the Spartan moved to the nearby console, his heavy footfalls echoing across the desolate cryo bay. His armored fingers danced along the holographic display, and he looked up once he heard the hisses of steam ring out all through the area.

The first one to thaw out completely and step out of his pod was, as always, the first lieutenant. Just like everyone else, the ODST was completely nude and puking his lungs out; the Spartan simply looked on, expression unseen behind his polarized blue visor.

Once the lieutenant had regained his composure, he looked up and grinned at the supersoldier. “Y’know what... You’re lucky that you’re already dead. You don’t have to go through this defrostin’ shit all the fuckin’ time...”

He coughed a bit, to clear his lungs fully, before speaking again. “... Well, at any regard... It’s your job to debrief the kiddies and get them suited up, while I get my own squad ready. I’ll meet you and the others on the bridge, Spartan; ‘til then... Adios. ” Giving a lazy salute to the supersoldier, he walked off to the lockers, to clean off the transparent muck that was still stuck on his person.

Sighing, the Spartan returned his attention to the others that were steadily making their way out of the pods, waiting for them all to get situated before leading them to the armory.

Vincent piles out of the pod stumbling from the hibernation sickness, vomiting in the designated area. He regains his posture as quickly as possible once he sees the First Lieutenant. His back stiffens immediately and goes straight to a salute, maintaining the extreme discipline that he is known for.

Regaining consciousness at a different section of the cryo bay, a loud hiss is heard as Duane's pod opens up and his eyes begin to open.
here it comes...
He thinks to himself, as he practicly falls out of the cryogenic pod ontop the floor and begin throwing up into the slit on the floor thats next to the pod. This slit is especially made for puke so why not?
Duane looks up and sees the other pods of his squad opening up as well.
He stands into a somewhat slumping posture and awaits further orders.

(lets just say duane and vincent are too far from each other to notice.)

((Actually, no. There's only one cryo bay, so you guys are in the same area.))

"Soldiers!" The Spartan's deep, gravelly voice rang out from the speakers of his helm, resounding across the bay. "Get yourselves cleansed, and haul your rears to the armory! We'll get you situated for your first mission."

As he spoke, he walked across to the doors of the cryo bay; they hissed open as soon as he approached, and he placed one foot out of the entrance before turning around to face them all once again. "No talking, no fucking around; you have five minutes to prepare yourselves!" With that, he walked out, the doors closing behind him immediately after.
