Ky receives the gift.

"I'm fine, but where am I?"

"my place, a little outside of town..."
He smiles at ky.
"Your very grown up ky."
Awkward tension fills between them.

"Grown up? Why do you say that?"

Ky tilts his head in confusion.

"ky..."
He slowly opens a drawer and picks up a picture. he smiles at it as he hands it to ky.

The picutre is of Him, Ky, Their sister and mom and dad, all smiling and happy.

"WHA-!?"

Ky is floored by this, being confronted by his own brother!

"BROTHER?! BUT-BUT I DON'T RECOGNIZE YOU AT ALL!!"

"You never knew me ky, let me formally introduce myself...my name is Ranrulf, but people just cal me ralf."
He extend a hand to him and smiles.

Ky stares at Ranulf.

"...How?"

"at the age of 5 you were taken from us. A dark guild raided our village and we couldn't find ou in the aftermath. I have been so worried about you! i have to tell mom and dad!"

"Wha..."

Ky is overwhelmed.

"...Really?"

(well change it)

"Yeah. so... im glad your safe, do u need to get back to your guild now?"

(yeah i'll come up with a better story tomorrow, now im just waaaay too lazy.)

Feeling a rush of emotions he has never felt before, Ky chooses his curiosity over his priorities.

"Not anytime soon..."

He eagerly sits before Ranulf.

"...I think now, I want to get to know my long-lost brother!"

He smiles warmly at his new found kin.

a small crystal shines in the norcer of the room, its shinning red.
"Oh no..."
Ranulf looks at it...
"thats bad...."
He looks at Ky.
"Hey you can call me Ran or Ranfan...a silly nickname that got adopted...but now i gotta go to a neighborring city...there in trouble..."
He gets some equipment and heads out.

"Ran..."

The name rings about in Ky's fragile memories.

"Wait ...did you say trouble in the neighboring city? What's going on?"

"ikm not sure yet, i have this crystal here, and whenre they need help we have a contract that they activate another crystal in the city which lights up this one, calling me over to help them "
He starts heading off through a mountain trail.

"Woah..."

Ky, like a child, stares at Ranulf with wonder.

"So many people depend on you! You must be highly respected here!"

"Please...don't do this!". Hazama stands over a skinny, attractive woman. She is wearing a light, white shirt and cut off jeans. She is kneeling and holding the dead body of her husband, who was a very important business man in Bellum. "I am sorry, it is not personal...it's business...". Hazama says right before extending his right hand through the woman's chest. Her eyes widen as she realizes death is upon her, and for one last moment she smiles as she holds her dearest husband. Hazama brings his hand back and sighs. He turns around and begins to walk out of the large mansion he was in.

Suddenly a large "EEEEAWWWWW" is heard and it brakes hazama flashback, and brings him back to reality. A donkey passes in front of him, carrying many fruits and vegetables. A small, elderly man is carrying the donkey and he nods and smiles at hazama as he passes. Hazama is sitting on a bench in the middle of the Inner city of Bellum. He tilts his hat down a bit, and slowly rises, and begins walking through the busy street of the city.

Ran quickly stops and holds both of Ky's shoulders.
"listen, i WILL find you agin, and we WILL have chit chat time...but now i have to go...go back to your guild..."
He walks away buut stops a few feet.
"But be safe ok?"
He smiles as he turns his head back and continues wlaking.

Dante looks at heather and shurgs.
"So mission complete?"

"i guess..."

"alright then lets head back!"

Dante and heather head back to the guild.

"Wait! Brother, there's so much I want to ask you!!"

Ky stares gingerly at his long-lost brother.

Meanwhile, Sanao Rani passes by a person she had not seen in the city before. As she walks past him she senses an incredible magical power coming from him. She darts around and stares at the man's back.

Such an intense magical power! ...That man ...is a mage.

She continues to follow him trying to remain hidden from him, in hopes to find out his business in town.

Hazama easily senses the girl's magical power and begins thinking she was here to kill him. he melds in with the crowd so she losses sight of him then act. He uses his magic to make himself flat on the ground, and slither through the crowd till he got right next to the girl, he quickly comes up, holding his hand on her neck.
"Tell me who you are, or i will kill you..."
His eyes are not ussualy closed and happy, but slightly opened and more serious...

"And what makes you think you're in any position to make threats?"

Smoke rises up from the soles of Hazama's shoes as they begin to melt, the ground beneath them becoming superheated by her magic. Sanao slaps the stranger's hand away and backs up into a defensive fighting stance.

"As a mage of Lion Heart, I will not allow you to bring trouble to this town!"

Quickly jumping out of his shoes, hazama lands, then stares the girl down."Trouble? Who said i was bringing trouble...your the one who just ruined a 700 Jewel pair of shoes!" Hazama cringes as he sees he shoes melting to the floor.

"Eh? You're not... from a Dark Guild?"

Sanao begins to stare at the melting shoes with guilt.

"Listen to me hazama!" An elderly man holds his shoulders. "You have to get out of here, They are coming, and will devour us all!" Hazama sees the serious look on the man's face and looks down, "what about you master?" He old man smiles and lets go of his shoulders, and looks out the nearest window, seing a nice view, "I will be fine..." He quickly turns as he sees somthing in the window. "...Quickly my boy...go! Go now!" Hazama nods, and runs with a bag of his things behind his back, he continues to run from his guild, not looking back.

Master...

He shakes his head as he comes back to reality, "No...not anymore at least..." The tone of his voice switch from aggressive to passive.

Sanao backs down from her fighting stance, switching instantly to a normal "bashful girl" reaction.

"U-uh..I'm so sorry, sir...I- uh... I'll definitely..."

Her voice trails off in nervousness as the crowd of people surrounding them begin whispering awful things. Sanao switches nervous, embarassed glances between the melted shoes and the now nice guy mage in front of her.
