"Becuase now, it saves time if i ever want to get you a a fish that isn't purple..."
Kaim smirks and finishes his loaf.

She smirked. "Unless of course I lied."

"Lying is as much of a part of a self, as your skin, or the blood in your body."
Kaim cracks his knules. He stands up slowly and moves his head as if he were looking at the girl elf.
"i will be seeing you around."
He walks to the other side of the room, and lays on a bed.

She shrugged and turned in her bed and tried to sleep. He had a point. After a few moments of fitful "sleep", Noene got up and crossed the length of the room to a window. She sat on the windowsill with her legs up to her knees and looked out. She began to hum a soft tune her mother used to sing and waited for morning.

Kaim awoke to the hum of the girl. You couldnt tell becuase of the scarf over his eyes. He laid there listening to the tune.
He silently got up and walked over to the elf in the window.
He remained unseen to her eye, and each footstep was more quiet then the wind.
"the tune...where is it from?"
He said from the darkness.

She was startled, and snapped her head back. She couldn't see anything in the dark, but sensed the voice belongs to the elf she spoke to earlier. His voice sounded close, much too close for her comfort. She traced her fingers over the handle of the danger she kept in her boot, just to make sure it was still there. Noene frowned. How did he get up and move around without me hearing him? She turned her head back to the window. "Its a lullaby my mother use to sing to me as a child."

"The same tune was sang to me..."
He releases energy out from under the scarf, as it was pouring from his eyes, the energy engulfs him like fog. The energy was bright so it shed light on the situation.
"it is a old lullaby..."

She nodded, trying hard not to stare at his eyes. "Yes, an old lullaby from elder Altmer's. A story about lover's doomed."

"do you believe in love young altmer?"
He moves and the glowing fog seeps away as he does

She looked out the window once more and held her knees tighter. "No, love is just a fable old one's tell their young. It doesn't exist and never will."

"oh young one...you have much to learn..."
He glides and looks out the window.
"love may seem blind, but until you are...you cannot see the truth."

She looked at him closely. "Maybe your right, but you cannot tell me love is the solution to all problems. Love fades with time, it does not last forever." She said this with anger, thinking of her mother. "Love doesn't solve anything!"

He smirks.
"love is just a word. the emotions that follow is whats true."

Turning back to the window, she sulks. "Well, have you ever felt that emotion?"

He stops in his step.
"yes....yes i have."
He tilts his head down, looking to the floor.
He continues walking and going to his bed.
"might wanna get some more rest...your mission tomorrow is a tough one."

She watched him walk back to his bed, thinking of everything they said. "I'm not tired...I never need much sleep." Noene looked back out and the window and watched the colors in the sky and actually smiled. She loved looking at the sky. Maybe this will be a good thing She thought as she began the hum once more.

Kaim fell asleep. The morning came, and he awoke. He saw her at the window.
"you have been there since our last meet?"
he gets up and gets his equipment,
"come on, ill show you to vincente's quarters."

She looked away from the window and at him, her eyes a little red and dark circled. She nodded. Getting up from the windowsill, Noene crossed the room over to her bed. She tenderly picked up her double bladed scythe like a mother would her infant and strapped it to her back. In her hand, she held her bowstring. Without looking away from her precious weapons she said, "Why would you do that?"

"i thought u could use the company, plus he owes me a favor."
He said walking out of the sleeping room and into the main hall.

"I don't need the company." She said a little coldly and walked out of the room. Noene clutched the handle of her bowstring and walked down the corridor to Vincente's chambers. She knocked softly.

"enter!"
Vincente, yelled at the voice.

She turned the door knob and walked quietly in. Standing there, in the middle of the room she waited for her orders.

"take this."
He gives her a letter of whom she has to kill.
"and since i owed him a favor, i allowed kaim to company you on your first mission."

Kaim smirks behind her and he walks into the room.

She took the paper and nodded. Noene, snapped her head up and clenched her fists upon hearing the last bit of news. "I do not need his help, I'am more than capable of handling this on my own." She glared at the elf behind her, something of hate in her eyes.

"no, somthing came up that makes the mission a bit more hard."
Kaim says adjusting his equipment.
