Born in New York City, USA, he spent most of his childhood and early adolescence prowling the streets of Brooklyn. Though he was - and still is - good-natured at heart, he was no different from any of the other youths of his time in one specific regard: getting into constant trouble.

Alex was a magnet for mischief and trouble; wherever he went, something ended up broken or something ended up lost or something ended up warped beyond physical probabilities. And not only was he a magnet for trouble, he was also a master prankster. Eventually, as a young adult, he became a member of a gang called "The DDTs"; it was with this gang that Alex met his long-time friend and mentor, Tom.

With Tom's guidance, Alex was trained in a style that merged kickboxing with professional wrestling; similarly, he managed to transition from a conniving punk kid to a well-rounded adult with a good sense of morals. By the age of twenty, Alex became the top dog of his gang, earning the nickname of "Manglin' Maverick"; said nickname was a reference to the crushing brutality of his street fighting - even though he moved with astonishing strength, speed and power.

At the age of twenty-four, Alex participated in a renouned world tournament, sponsored by a man known only as "Gill". His performance caught the attention of several higher-ups, whon also happened to posess ties with an esteemed high school for the extremely talented. It was becoming increasingly clear that while the school was intellectually stimulation, the students were severely lacking in physical competence, and it would seem that Alex would be a prime candidate in overseeing the health department of school - even moreso, when he went on to win the tournament.

At the turn of the most recent year, Alex - having been properly instructed by Tom in Japanese language and culture - bid his hometown farewell and moved to the country of Japan. It only took a few months for him to readjust to a new lifestyle, and now he serves as the director of the school's health department, as well as physical recreation clubs.
