Fullmetal Alchemist RP: Rise of the State Alchemists

-Please have knowledge of the FMA universe before joining this RP-

This RP takes place before the ishvalan war ever started. The State Military has been lacking power, and came up with a brilliant idea. Recruiting alchemists who use their powers from the greater good for the state, and who work under the leadership of the great King Bradley.

Also a parallel plot takes place. An entire city's population has vanished within one night, and all who is left is a young girl, who cannot remember anything. This strange incident has caught the eye of the state military, so they decided to do an investigation of this.


Now, even though the plots run, you can be whoever you want to be in this rp....YES! i am running this rp with the FMA universe so characters from it exist in this rp. NO! you cannot be any existing characters, you MUST create an orginal character. ALthough, you can have your character be with an existsing character...

*VERY IMPORTANT*
This RP is VERY EASY to godmod, and THIS I WILL NOT ALLOW!!! any sign of godmodding you will be warned, and then if u do after that, your character will be killed off. You can start again, with one more chance, and if u do again, your character will be killed off, and you will not be allowed to rp in this.

who can you be?:
A normal person- from a farmer to a bouny hunter. NO powers, NO military access.
A state military member- NO powers, and military access depends on your rank. Ranks like general and other high ranks are already taken by existing characters. you can have good skills in markmanship, fighting, stealth, yadda yadda, but dont overdo it.
a normal alchemist- Powers depends on your age, and ability. This is just a person who doesnt work for the military and is an alchemist.
A state Alchemist. Powers depend on your age and ability. You will have a lot of military access. An alchemist who only works and takes order from the state military.
Chimera- This is a person who is normal, and changes into a beast, who has powers. You will ussualy work for the military, but one can be a lone chimera.

NOW! you can choose to be good or bad of whatever your going to be. Whoever works for the military ussual is good, can you can be corrupt and such. but chimeras, normal alchemists, and normal people can be bad and be the "villians" of the rp.

Bio/History: Godric was an orphan his entire life, and at the age of 15 did he discovered he had some powers in him. He then trained to use these powers, and later did he know he became an alchemist. At the age of 21 he joined the military and rose the ranks of it fast. It is now a feared official due to his deceptive and sadisticly calm personality.

Bio/History: Shinjiro was born in a small city that didnt have much population. The town was a farming town and when Shinjiro was born, his dad had almost let him go for adoption, but his mother wanted him badly. At the age of 10, shinjiro found books about alchemy at a local library in another town. He bagan reading them nonstop. At the age of 15, he had an accident showing off his alchemy, and instead of shooting a cannon away, he shot it at himself, blowing of his legs. So he got automail for both of his legs. Soon after he became good as he learned everything, and mastered his own style. While showing off his alchemy to his neighbor, who has been long friends, certain state militarymen saw him, and recognized him. One of the men was Godric, the state alchemist, and he questioned the boy very curiously. He had intrigue in the boy, but before he could go anything further with him, shinjiro ran, taking his long time friend, and secretly his lover, with him. Now the two are on the run.

Bio/History: October had a fairly normal childhood. She grew up with loving parents, in a nice town and an adoring friend. While out on a family vaction, October not only found out she had alchemic abilites but gained a terrible secret. As the years went by, October began to fall in love with that friend, she promised herself she would be with him forever no matter what the cost. Now after a misunderstanding, she and her friend are on the run from state alchemists.

Bio/History: An orphan who arrived in Dublith 16 years ago on the doorstep of Vasi Feindschaft, the famed and highly-skilled alchemist, naked and heavily wounded. It was presumed that he had spent numerous years wandering the forest. Through rigorous training, Vasi's wife Kyoko taught Aleo discipline through Xingese Martial Arts. At the same time Aleo took interest in his adoptive father's alchemy. Adopting the couples knowledge, he becomes a powerful alchemist. By the age of 16, he decides to become a state alchemist so he can find out who his blood relatives are. Passing with flying colors, he is stationed in East City for two years. With no leads, he holds hopes that his transfer to Central proves fruitful.

Back story: Left the State Alchemist's after my unique abilities were decided dangerous, just as my execution date was arriving a kind woman named October helped me escape, left for dead by the state Alchemist's and forced to be separated from my old friend October due to an attack from the state, i wander alone though a village market stealing food when i see a familiar face....

type of alchemy: Single-armed alchemy - after using alchemy on his mutated right arm, he can perform transmutations without the need of either a circle or even the clapping of hands. Lasts for three hours, and can transmute through any medium that is not air. Cannot transmute further than 300 meters, and cannot use arm for 10 hours after the 3-hour limit is reached.

Rank: Lieutenant/"Lone Wolf" operative - a unit typically sent out on high-priority infiltration missions.

Bio/History: Blutsauger gained his demonic right arm after being ordered to perform a transmutation to repair his dead commander's brain. In order to do this, he had to resurrect the whole corpse, resulting in his breaking of the "sacred rule" of alchemy. As a result, he lost a vast amount of flesh from his right arm.

However, that would not be the end of it. Unlike many others, Kroenen could keep his cool even in the worst of situations; he used alchemy while staring right at the Gate, somehow managing to utilize its vast powers to reconstruct his arm into something greater. Now he has the ability to transmute with a simple thought, and do so through any medium - sans the air.

Actually, the arm will reveal itself in its entirety after he performs alchemy on it. Until then, it will appear as a normal human limb.

As for the 24 hours thing... Well, I'll probably reduce that time limit, but every time he activates the arm, he won't require the use of a circle and he doesn't even need to clap his hands together in order to perform alchemy; he can just touch whatever he wants to transmute or transmute through, and it will work.

alright, make that have a sideffect and your in...instant alchemy is a lil OP

Hm... Cooldown time, then? He can't use the arm again for at least 10 hours, and he can't transmute from a certain distance. About 300 meters.
