Bethesda or Bioware?

Who makes the best video games in America?

Bethesda makes some very good games, to include the Elder Scrolls series (Morrowind and Daggerfall are the big ones), as well as Fallout 3, the best game of 2008 (A year in which Bioware didn't come out with anything spectacular....)

But Bioware also produces some very good games, to include Mass Effect, Dragon Age, NWN2, KOTOR, and Jade Empire.

So who is better?

i picked Bethesda cuz i loved the Elder Scrolls series. didnt love fallout 3 as much but it was still awesome

but its not the best gaming company ever.....japanese turn-based rpgs? thats where its fucking at! square enix forever:D

Well there's no doubt that Square Enix does the best Japanese games, this one is about the American ones.

but i am not voting in this becuase that would mean i would have to choose between elder scrolls and mass effect/KOTOR and i cant...sry...

Fallout 3 won Best RPG of 2008, but not game of the year. That was GTA 4.
2009 was Uncharted 2. thats all there is to say!

There is no single "game of the year" award. GTA4 got some, Fallout 3 got some. Everyone has their own version of "game of the year" with their own constituency that votes on them.

So yeah, it got some Game of the Year awards. For both 2008 and 2009. And so did Uncharted 2 and GTA4. Personally, I prefer Fallout 3 over either of them.

i ahte the other game of the year awards and personally base it on VGA's so yeah....im ignorant for that.

I prefer games like Fallout 3 over games like GTA4 so prefer the ones that vote it game of the year... so go figure.
