[Heroes RP]

Ogami looks over at Maiko once Alloy leaves.

"I owe you an apology... I'm sorry..."

He cannot look his in the eyes, no matter how hard he tries.

(Maiko is a guy dude)

"Eh no worries, we all spontaneously combust at some point in out lives right?"
He laughs with duane.

Ogami does not find it humorous. He storms out of the tent with his head held low and walks over to Tent B.

Maiko and Duane looks at each other and shurg.
Duane pats maiko's shoulder and rushes to catch up with Ogami.
"hey wait up!"

Ogami ignores them and continues walking with his head down.

When ogami heads into the sleeping area, Duane follows him until he stopp at his bed.
"Dude! whats goin on? So what u lost control...people do that all the time here!"

"I'm tired. That's all"

Ogami's classic indifference returns as he climbs onto his top bunk.

"When is the next training lesson?"

Duane climbs into a bed next to his.
"Tomorrow. Noon. Like always."

a voice is heard.
"LIGHTS OUT!"

suddenly all the base's lights go out and sleeping time is in effect.

Ogami tries to fall asleep but is restless with thoughts of what happened earlier.

Just like that time...

Horrible screams go off in his head. He grabs his forehead and yells out.

"Shut it!"

Duane and most other wake up.
"what the!?....Ogami was that you?"
the tired duane looks aorund in the darkness.

"I..N-no it wasn't me. Go back to sleep."

A horrible liar as always, Ogami stuffs his face into his pillow forcing himself to sleep, to no avail.

-the morning-
"BREAKFAST!"
a voice screams waking everyone up.

"ughhh..."
duane rubs his head as he gets up.

Ogami slumps up in a groggy, half-awake state. He looks over at Duane with a glazed look in his eyes.

"...Where's the food?"

"follow mehhhhh..."
he says as he staggers to his feet, and gets changed and heads to the breakfast area...a large room with a cafeteria like bar, and a bunch of table...the line is already quite long.
"great..."
Duane walks to get in line.

Ogami gets in line next to Duane. He grunts at the site of the how big the line is.

"Smells good."

"It is...we are lucky to have Matt and Saul here though..."
he moves in line up some.

"Matt and Saul?"

Ogami tries keep up the conversation with Duane as the line slowly moves faster.

"Yeah!"
duane realizes that ogami is new and doesnt have any idea what he is tlaking about.
"riiiight...um Matt is a plant manipulator, so he grows shit in the biogarden we have always fresh fruits and vegies...and Saul has animal communication, so fresh dairy and meat"
he smiles and moves up.

"You guys all seem so ...at terms with your powers..."

Ogami's cold gaze turns into one of humility and vulnerability. Was he actually letting his guard down to Daune? Ogami looks down at his empty food tray and slowly moves through the line.

Finally they reach the bar and the chef begins utting various foods on duane's plate.
"Yeah well that is what this place is for..."
He lagughs to himself after thinking of somthing.
"This is totally like Professors Xavier's institue for gifted children in xmen!!!"
He pauses and thinks for a moment.
"...expect were underground and ragiity, instead of a manion, and our leader is a woman, not some cool blad guy...and there no huge blue furry monster running around..."
He chuckles a bit and gets out of the bar and finds a tbale with some others.
"Guys, meet Ogami!"
They all wave while they eat, 3 guys.

Ogami looks up from his try as he instantly losses his vulnerability and regains his guard. As if an instinct, his cold, lifeless gaze returns as attempts to wave. Of course, the gawking girls break out in laughter at the clueless teen's attempt at social connection with such a scary face. Ogami turns bright red and quickly turns away and buries himself back into his tray. He continues his conversation with Duane, slowly letting his guard down again.

"So you learned how to control your powers here?"

"Yeah! i've been here...abooooout...4 months now? yeah that about right. I was lucky though, when i got here, one of the "Leaders" of the rebels was a sand manipulator like me...so i had private lessons from a really powerful guy!"

"Leaders?"

Ogami interest is peaked as he waits patiently for more information.

"Yeah! just a couple people who have developed their power to the max limit. They know everything there is know know about their power, and luckily theyre on our side! ummm DJ is mostly here, she's one...the rest are mostly out, in other rebel bases or doing stuff...oh yeah! Alloy she just recently became one. The youngest to ever be a leader..."
he continues eating.

"Youngest leader..."

Ogami receives his food and sits down next to Duane.

"What is Alloy's story?"

Rethinking his awkward question, he tries again.

"What I mean is, how did she get here, being an instructor?"
